What SayWhenn is
SayWhenn suggests a night out in Los Angeles. You answer a few questions and we return a plan: three places, an order to visit them in, a route, and a rough schedule. That is a suggestion. It is not a booking, a reservation, or a guarantee of entry.
Using SayWhenn
You need to be 18 or older to use this site, and 21 or older to enter most of the places it suggests.
Building a plan is free while SayWhenn is in beta. We may add paid features later, and if we do we will say so clearly before you are charged for anything.
Do not use SayWhenn to break the law, to harass anyone, or to attack the service.
Do not extract, copy or resell our venue list, and do not send automated requests to the service.
We rate-limit requests so that one person cannot use up the service for everybody else.
Accounts
Signing in is optional, and it uses Google. You are responsible for your own Google account and for anything done through it. You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it. The Privacy Policy explains how.
What we can and cannot promise
Hours, door policies, prices and cover charges change constantly, sometimes on the day. We re-check the list every week, and we still cannot guarantee that a place will be open, will let you in, or will cost what we say. Check anything that matters before you go.
SayWhenn is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows we make no warranties, and we are not liable for what happens on your night out: a closed door, a queue, a bill, or a journey between stops. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Venues and third parties
Venue details come from our own list and from third parties including Google Places. Maps come from OpenStreetMap and CARTO. Weather comes from Open-Meteo. Those services have their own terms.
We are not responsible for any venue, and a place appearing in your plan is not an endorsement, a partnership or a paid placement unless we say so on the page.
Your content
Anything you type stays yours. You give us permission to use it to build your plan, to keep that plan working, and to improve the service. If you suggest a venue or report a correction, we may act on it.
Our content
The SayWhenn name, this site, its copy, its design and the venue list behind it are ours. Do not copy or resell them.
Changes, and ending access
We may change these terms. If we change something significant we will update the date at the top and say so on the site. We may suspend or end access for anyone who abuses the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, and the courts of Los Angeles County have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
